Job Title: Accounting & Operations Specialist (AP / AR / Cash Processing)
Location: South Florida (West Palm Beach / Boca Raton)
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $26.00 / hour (DOE) | Temp-to-Hire & Full-Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Accounting & Operations Specialist to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be the backbone of daily financial processing—managing high-volume invoices, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. Whether managing 3-way matching or posting customer funds, your accuracy keeps operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: - Accounts Payable: Download, code, and process high-volume vendor invoices (200+ daily); perform 3-way matching with POs and receiving receipts; prepare weekly check runs and digital archives.
- Cash & Claims Processing: Post customer payments, manage bank correspondence, review policy refunds/claims coding, and verify payee documentation.
- Accounts Receivable: Assist with high-dollar collections, resolve billing inquiries, and perform account write-offs or cash re-applications.
- Department Support: Support senior team members during system transitions, audits, or specialty workflows (e.g., warranty claims administration).
What We’re Looking For: - Experience: 1–2+ years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or Claims Processing.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, basic formulas, data integrity) and experience with accounting/ERP software (Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan, or similar tools are a plus).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Mindset: Meticulous attention to detail, Proficient organizational skills, and clear communication.
