Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Music Ministry to support the Director of Music Ministry in the organization, planning, communication, and potential production of liturgical music for a vibrant bi-lingual music program. There may be some flexibility in the job scope depending on the strengths of individual candidates. Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and production of music for masses, funerals, weddings, and other special events
• Coordinate and communicate with music volunteers, musicians, and parishioners
• Assist with a variety administrative tasks
• Some evening and weekend work may be required

Required Abilities:

• Knowledge of and experience with the Catholic liturgy and music
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred
• Semi-professional or professional level vocal or piano/organ performance abilities are a huge plus
