WE TABLE is a new health-forward modern Thai restaurant concept in Sherman Oaks — inspired by Bangkok flavors and modern Los Angeles dining.
We are looking for a creative, hands-on Chef Consultant to work directly with the owner to develop, test, refine, and finalize our opening menu.
This is a part-time menu development role (approximately 10–15 hours per week) during our pre-opening phase, with potential for an expanded role after opening.
Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the owner to develop and finalize the opening menu • Develop and test new dishes and improve existing recipes • Standardize recipes, portions, ingredients, and preparation methods • Assist with food costing and operational feasibility • Develop plating and presentation standards • Help create dishes that are distinctive, modern, health-conscious, and commercially viable • Train the existing kitchen team on finalized recipes and execution • Help ensure consistency, quality, and speed before launch
What we’re looking for: • Minimum 2 years of professional culinary experience • Strong creativity and excellent palate • Experience with Thai, Southeast Asian, or Asian cuisine is a plus, but not required • Familiarity with modern Los Angeles dining and current food trends • Experience with menu development, recipe testing, and food costing • Interest in health-forward cooking, premium ingredients, and plant-forward cuisine • Collaborative, organized, and hands-on

Compensation: $35–$45/hour, depending on experience.
