**Job Title: Home Health Aide**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in the daily lives of those you care for, offering both personal and medical assistance in a respectful and professional manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with toileting.
- Administer basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals, including monitoring vital signs and managing medications.
- Assist with mobility, including turning and positioning patients, transferring them from beds to wheelchairs, and encouraging therapeutic exercises.
- Plan and prepare meals that meet nutritional guidelines and dietary restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversation to enhance the emotional well-being of clients.
- Report any changes in the client’s condition or living situation to the appropriate healthcare professionals promptly.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification or equivalent is a plus
- Previous experience in home healthcare or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift or move patients as needed.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license may be required for traveling to client homes.
