Now Hiring: Laundry Attendant

Location: Charleston, SC 29483

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $15.10 per hour

Shift: Variable schedule, typically 8:30 AM 4:00 PM

Availability: Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, weigh, and transport dirty linens, towels, and other laundry items.

• Load and unload washing machines and dryers.

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and cleaning cloths.

• Stock linen carts and deliver clean linens to designated areas.

• Operate laundry equipment safely and follow operating procedures.

• Clean dryer filters and maintain laundry equipment as instructed.

• Keep laundry rooms, floors, carts, and linen storage areas clean and organized.

• Replenish laundry and cleaning chemicals as required.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain hotel cleanliness standards.

• Work with the team to ensure clean linens are available when needed.

Requirements:

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience is preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift, carry, and handle laundry and linen supplies.

• Must have open availability and be flexible with scheduling.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

A dependable, hardworking individual who can handle laundry duties efficiently, maintain cleanliness, and work well with the hotel team to ensure guests have fresh, clean linens.
