Job DescriptionJob Summary:Mercury Systems is seeking the best and brightest talent to help us bring cutting edge technology to mission critical aerospace and defense applications, advancing innovation where it matters most. The RF Engineering team is seeking someone who will provide technical leadership to resolve issues that may arise during assembly, production testing, and integration of complex RF/Microwave products. The ideal engineer will demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration skills, while working effectively with program management, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to support the objectives of a high-impact defense program.Job Responsibilities:Perform hands-on product troubleshooting in manufacturing and development environmentsAssist with ongoing engineering development projects and product initiativesWork with engineers and technicians for offline asset reductionSupport definition and implementation of producibility improvementsWork with Lead Engineers on design updatesCollaborate and effectively communicate with cross-functional product teamsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldTypically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturingStrong problem-solving skills within fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to collaborate and thrive in team-oriented settingsExperience with test equipment to test/troubleshoot RF/Microwave circuits at the module and component levelExperience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB and simulation software (Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS)Active DoD Secret Clearance required on day onePreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldExperience testing/troubleshooting analog, digital and mixed signal circuits at the module and component levelSystem level troubleshooting for digital, analog, and power circuitsTransfer to production of new or existing designsFamiliar with FPGA and Programmable Logic designAbility to work on multiple programs in the same timeframeExperience in failure analysis/Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigationsJob RequirementsWhy should you join Mercury Systems?Mercury Systems is a technology company that makes the world a safer, more secure place.
