Sign-on Bonus up to $25,000. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior A&P Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Palestine, TX. This role is essential to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our light aircraft fleet. Location & Schedule: Palestine, TX. Schedule 7 & 7. Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or sixty (60) miles from the base (whichever is greater) of the candidate's residence. Travel between bases is required

Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on light aircraft to ensure airworthiness and compliance with FAA regulations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and avionics issues, including sheet metal repair and avionics troubleshooting/repair.
Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation as required by the FAA and company policies.
Work collaboratively with the operations team to minimize downtime and optimize aircraft performance.
Travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, to provide maintenance support during scheduled hitches.
Perform maintenance tasks during night shifts as dictated by operational requirements.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
At least 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic performing maintenance on light aircraft.
Basic communication and computer skills.
Experience in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair is highly desirable.
Must be able to pass a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lifting up to 100 pounds), drug screening, and background check.
