Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will provide strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to project teams within the nuclear industry. This role is responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting with efficient resource allocation.
  • Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to proactively address challenges.
  • Monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and deliver status reports to executive management.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and expectations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Apply advanced project management methodologies and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Mentor and coach project management teams, sharing expertise and best practices.
Required Skills & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with a proven track record in complex projects.
  • Prior experience managing projects within the nuclear industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and software tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Advanced certifications such as PgMP, PMI-RMP, or nuclear-industry-specific credentials.
Special Considerations:
  • Experience working in a regulated nuclear industry environment requiring adherence to strict standards and protocols.
Scheduling:
  • 12-month contract duration; specific work schedule and shifts to be determined based on project needs.
